During the federal public health emergency for COVID-19, people could keep their Medicaid coverage longer than normal. That requirement is now ending because of a change in federal policy.
Now states are returning to normal processes to check Medicaid eligibility and update their Medicaid rolls. If you are covered by Medicaid, you may need to go through your state’s renewal process to show you are still Medicaid eligible.
  • Update your Contact Information with WA State Medicaid
  • If you no longer qualify for Medicaid because of redeterminations, you may find affordable coverage through a subsidized ACA Marketplace plan, through an employer-sponsored plan or through Medicare
  • Individuals with monthly income up to $2,430 and couples with monthly income up to $3,387 may qualify for a Medicare Savings Program
